vitamin D supplement?

I know fermented CLO is the best way to go here, but I'm not having a lot of luck with DS. He is getting sun, but now that summer is waning, I am wondering if i should consider a supplement. Are there any whole-food vitamin D supplements that are any good?

Biotics Reserved Corporation Bio-D Emulsion Forte (I get it from my Naturopath). A bottle's like $20 but it lasts forever (one drop is 2,000 IU) and it actually absorbs into your system unlike most stuff sold as VitD supplements.
