What is holiday helper?

I have seen the notices, and saw some folks mention it last year as well. I gather that it is mdc's way of helping mamas in need during the holidays . How does it work?

We will be opening the forum up early October so you will be able to see it. People sign up and provide their family's information. The facilitators keep lists of available gently used items that the members send them and they coordinate packages being sent.

It is as you describe, people trying to help others during the holidays.
