What is your nighttime diaper solution?

I thought I had found my perfect nighttime solution: BG AIOs with a HempBabies doubler. However, DS got a nasty ammonia burn, so we're considering other options.

I think this is probably the hundredth thread to ask this, but:

What is your nighttime solution?

DD2 does best in a Fuzzi Bunz at night. During the day I use the Joey Bunz hemp inserts, but at night I usually use a prefold as an insert. The hemp plus overnight pee, oof! It would make my eyes water, and she would end up all red an irritated. It's better with the prefold, but I finally got a wool soaker that I think will work for overnight so I'm going to try it with a fitted.

We use a fuzzi bunz sized pocket (medium for my 17 month old, small for my 3 month old) with a super do insert. No leaks, ever.

My kids wear/wore fitted diapers at night. They're Very Baby Simply Nights. It's a hemp diaper, with two snap-in inserts and side snaps. The whole diaper is lined with microfleece for a dry feeling, plus the inserts are topped with fleece. The diaper is HUGE when it's all put together, but it's the only thing that can get a heavy-wetting toddler through the whole night without them waking up drenched. They wear it under a pull-on wool cover; we have Disana covers, and also handknit ones.

we use a gmd brown edge prefold with a doubler under a thirsties cover. i think she is just now starting to out- wet this combo though. dont know what we'll try next!

I am still working on this for DS. DD didn't pee at night, so this is awhole new territory for me.

Currently we do a double stuffed BG (2 hemp prefolds) for the first part of the night, then change him around 2-4 am and do another of the same for the second half. If we don't change him, we are all soaked by morning. If we only do a single stuff for either diaper, we are all soaked. It amazes me how much comes out of him.

2 prefolds under a Mother-ease or Bummis cover for most of dd's diapering years. Now it's Toddle-ease diapers with Dappi nylon pants. She only pees in them once or twice a week, but it never leaks.

FB + Prefold

Our nighttime diaper has always been a Fuzzi Bunz stuffed with a prefold, prefold and doubler, or two prefolds (one big and one small), depending on the age of the child.

I've recently started using knickernappies as well, but they're quite a bit narrower than the Fuzzi Bunz and they're much harder to stuff. We'll have to switch to a size larger soon, even though we've never needed anything bigger than a medium in the Fuzzi Bunz.

We use a fuzzi bunz, micro instert+3 hemp inserts, and cover it all up with stacinator so simple diaper cover.

When we used pockets id use a bg w/2 inserts now that ive switched back to prefolds (I love the simplicity) we just double those up w/ a homemade pull cover it works great!

I trifold a orange edge prefold into my red edge prefold. Use a disana or natural blue cloud wool soaker over the top. Works great!

For the baby it is easy, a fitted diaper with a prefold in the cover. I use a small prowrap cover, and he is 3 months old.

For my 9 year old, I use cloth now instead of a good nights and I use two infant prefolds (all I have) and a doubler inside a prowrap youth cover and we don't have leaks, and this is a kid who would soak through a good night.

I've been using either a BG OS or a swaddlebees outlet OS, stuffed with a wonderoos insert (kinda hourglass shaped), with a bummis stay dry liner on top of the pocket.
Sometimes the fleece wouldn't absorb fast enough and we'd have leaks. The bummis liner is stay dry, but mesh so (I think) it won't have potential repelling like fleece.
Having the shaped insert means more mf in the soaker area, without any more bulk between the legs.

We usually use a onesize pocket or Mommy's Touch aio. Use 2 inserts a micro and a hemp then cover with a wonder wrap onesze cover. We don't have any leaks.
