Hey ladies,
I had a thread awhile back about my low platelets and got a couple of great responses. Though since then theyve dropped even more- to 70. I have to go in Friday morning for monitoring and another blood test and if they're the same or lower my doc strongly recommends induction as the platelets are most likely a gestational auto immune issue.
I'm now too low to get an epidural as well and I'm reallyworriedabout copingwith pain for an induction, and if the induction doesn't work they'll have to put me Unser general for a csection so I'm really hoping the induction works.
Any advice or experience with this? Anyone had an induction w no epi? How did you cope? Does anyone know how breastfeeding would be affected with a general? I spent a good portion of yesterday freaking out so I'm feeling so resigned and tired today and trying to get myself mentally prepped for Friday.
