Does it ever hurt when your baby moves?

I feel sort of embarrassed to write this because I feel like I'm supposed to be all Zen and maternal about it, but I'm wondering if it ever hurts when your baby moves? I don't really remember this with my first dd so I don't know if it's "normal" or what is going on.

The baby is really low; +1 station and I can feel her head when I do an internal check. I get these really frequent "zings" in my cervix and now, even down my leg when she moves. It's like she's scratching at my cervix sometimes. I think there's a shoulder sort of under my hipbone because there's this weird scraping sensation there at times as well. It's all sort of a "nerve-y" feeling - like she's hitting nerves. Often when she moves I feel A LOT of pressure on my tailbone and it almost creates the sensation of needing to push during a BM.

I wonder if this is coming from her being so low? Does anyone else experience this?

Yep. Besides the kicks in the side that can be really uncomfortable, the thing that actually hurts is these "zings" I get in my low back/pelvis. And I know for sure they are from his movement. . .mostly get them at night now, when I am trying to fall asleep and he is squirming about. I decided last night that it must be either and elbow or a shoulder digging into my spine or sacrum. It must be pressing on a nerve b/c that's what the pain feels like. . .almost like when you bump your elbow and get that nerve twinge. And it only happens when I fel him moving in a certain way.

I'm ready for him to come out and stop elbowing me in the back!

All the time...she pops her shoulder in and out of my pelvis and hits my bladder and I feel like screaming ....I'll be zen when the pain is bringing baby out LOL

Certainly! This little guy is super low, too. He has had a couple of "cervix scratching" episodes that I just about could not stand. OUCH! And I definitely get the "do I need to have a bm?" pressure a lot and the pain down the leg occasionally.

Hugs! Almost over - hopefully!

DDC crashing...I double over pretty frequently. It's pretty funny at work; I'll be in mid-sentence or in a meeting or something and just all of a sudden just double over and go "OWWW!" People get pretty concerned like something is really wrong till I explain she just kicks me in funny spots.

I get a strong pain in my hip- like a sciatic nerve feeling- and when she pushes upwards against my ribcage, or right between my ribs at the front- yikes it hurts!!!!
