what to do with frozen colostrum?

My DD didn't latch on in the early days before my milk came in, so I pumped colostrum and fed as much as we could with a dropper. She didn't take it all, so I froze some. I still have a few ounces of the frozen stuff. Any ideas on how to make productive use of it? It has been in there for 4 months now, so I don't think I should let it go any longer.

I would check with a lactation consultant but I would think that giving it to your dd would still be good. If she only takes the breast I would offer it to her in a regular cup (very slowly of course).

I would give it to her too. I would feel more confident giving it to her if it were in a deep freezer or the back of your freezer, but it's probably fine. Has the freezer been a consistent temp? No power outages that thawed things? Maybe check the kellymom site and call an LC, just for reassurance.

I'd give it to my LO, if it were me. We have to use pumped milk twice a week while I work, so i'd mix it with new milk, probably.

My ds was in the NICU and so I had pumped colostrum, I gave it to him once we got home.
