what size fuzzi bunz?

I have lots of Fuzzi Bunz from my best friend and lots of wonderroos and BG (old style) will the size small fit a newborn or should I just stick to the prefolds for the begining? my Ds was 8.7 and I am thinking this guy maybe a little smaller as I have not gained nearly as much with him!

I think the answer is, unfortunately, it depends on the newborn. All my guys were really, really skinny but really, really long. Only prefolds worked for them in the beginning. Then, as they began to plump up, I could switch to smalls, mediums, etc. I think I would be prepared for prefolds at first and kind of see how it goes.

My baby was over 10 pounds and even then the small fb didn't fit yet!

FBs tend to run a little big, especially if you got some new style ones. The XSs should fit a newborn, or you can do prefolds until the bigger ones fit.

I have all old style everything. So that then means I should make sure to get some NB covers I only have like two.

I strongly prefer prefolds or little bitty fitteds for newborns. I would save pockets and heavier dipes for when they wet more, and don't have those adorable chicken legs. Plus better bang for your buck with pf's, and totally customizable to baby's size and shape .

The XS or premie fuzzi bunz worked for us until about 10.5 or 11lbs.

DD was ten pounds and around 21 inches when I put her in OS fuzzi bunz (smalls) and they fit her fine. I probably could have started a bit earlier. I am impressed how well they handle EBF poop. In fact, I just ordered some more.
