Nipples stick to nursing pads

I need to use nursing pads since I'm constantly leaking, but I find that my nipples get stuck to the nursing pads and it's really painful to pull them off when it's time to nurse!

Any suggestions? I put a nipple butter on my nipples after nursing, and try and let them air out as much as possible... But they still get stuck!

Mine do the same thing! I've started putting gobs of lanolin on the pad before I put it on and that seems to have helped. I've been using Lasinoh if that makes a difference.

I have a pair of pads (medela, I think) that have a mesh layer on top that helps with the sticking. I don't know how old your babies are or how things are going with you, but I have found that the sticking got better when nursing got easier in general, and now that nursing isn't painful, I don't have any painful sticking at all.

Lansinoh lanolin was a lifesaver for me. I globbed that stuff on like it was nobody's business. LOL
