I have a jar of pumpkin seeds I want to use in some granola. I've had them for awhile (we nibble on them as opposed to snack on them) and have always kept them in a glass jar inthe fridge. I can't remember when I bought them but my memory is totally shot so that's not a shocker.

How do I know if they are still good? I'd really rather not eat a mouthful to tell if possible....I'm pregnant (so don't want to get sick) and have a sensitive gag reflex.
