Traveling to Mexico with unvaccinated baby?

I am planning on seeing the birth of my best friend's baby in Mexico City sometime in April. My baby will be 16 months old. She has had no vaccines as of now at 10 months. I am on the fence in this highly weighted issue. Are there any diseases in MX right now I should be made aware of? I'm simply confused. I would love to hear your input.

If she is still breastfeeding still and is a healthy baby, I would have no concerns. Are there any health concerns specific to your child?

You are in a major city with many hospitals should an emergency arise, and antibiotics are basically over the counter in Mexico, so I can't think of a real risk, myself.

I only think the travel thing is an issue if you are going to an area where it is very likely to get something without means to appropriate treatment.
