Anyone use this?

I found this online; http://www.furminator.com/ and it looks pretty cool.
I'm thinking about picking one up for my cats and dog.

Anyone have experience with it? Or is it another ol' brush with really good marketing videos?

I have a knock off which was way cheaper and the only thing I regret about it was I did not buy one sooner.

I think it only works on certain coat types though, it does not work on my short haired single coat dog, it works wonderfully on my med length double coated dog, and I have heard people with long coated dogs complain about it breaking the top coat.

I have the off brand of it. It works great! I have a black lab mutt, a coonhound, 2 long hair cats, and 2 short hair cats. I use it on all of them. It takes loads of hair off of my black lab dog especially!

I have 3 domestic short hair kittys and a new-to-the-family black lab (arent they great? )

Pepper44, do you use the same brush for all your pets, or different ones for the cats and dogs?

I got the knock-off brand at Petsmart.

I use the same one on all my pets. Only one cat is offended.

We love the furminator. It works so well on our Saint Bernard and our cats even love it.

I can see one of my boy kitties getting bent out of shape sharing a brush with *gasp* the dog.....

I dont have any Petsmarts here....only Petland and one or two Petceteras. I think they're pretty much the same thing...I'll go check them out.

Our of curiosity, how much did you guys pay for your knock-off and Furminator? (if you dont mind me asking....)
