We had our baby boy yesterday morning at 11:15 am after a fast and furious labor/birth. I was thinking "this may be it" just after 8am. He was born in the La Bassine in our bedroom. This was our first homebirth and it went great!!! I was losing it for awhile
, but we made it through to the other side. I'll write up a birth story later, but I can say I just had a little lip of cervix when my MW arrived Yeah, go me!! I asked her to check me and told her to lie if I was only 2cm I can say I didn't want to push (the pressure is the worst part IMO) but my awesome birth team kept me going!!
To all still pregnant: come on babies!!! Wishing everyone a great birthing experience!
