How early have you gotten a BFP?

I am going crazy wanting to test. I am 8DPO today. I have been experiencing some symptoms since 3DPO and I want to know NOW, lol.

So how early have you gotten a positive result?

6dpo, after 2 days of severe morning sickness (and it was confirmed by several early ultrasounds that it indeed happened at 6dpo)

however, the chances of even getting a bfp at 8dpo are around 5% IF you are pregnant.

Most women begin, with the sensitive tests, to get BFPs as of 10dpo... according to research done by FRER and a few other studies it is around 69%, IF pregnant, will get a BFP at 10dpo

so IF you have to test, go with a dollar tree test so you dont waste perfectly good money on tests that are better left for 10dpo+ (thats what I got my bfp at 6dpo with!)

I got a BFP this pregnancy at 9 dpo with a FRER test! It was negative at 8 dpo, but a faint pink line popped up at 9 dpo and the digital test I took to back it up also said pregnant that same day!

Thanks ladies! I don't know why this is such a hard decision. I have one dollar store test I could use. I know I really should use FMU, so perhaps I better at least wait another day or maybe two. I want to know, but I am afraid it is NO, again. We shall see what happens. I must go distract myself with actual productive activity...

Dollar store tests always give me an evap or false positive. :/

I've gotten BFPs at 7 dpo with OSOM (only can buy online), and then I just got my first BFP this pg with an FRER at 9 dpo (my 11 dpo beta was 31).

Just an update

I got so excited at 9 DPO that I ruined the test. I put the pee in the wrong spot! the control line did not even show up. SO then I wasted my digi. Oh well. I tested again yesterday (13 DPO) with a dollar store test and just white space not even a hint of pink. AF is supposed to start tomorrow, so we shall see. I have not given up hope yet. I still have some symptoms: Still aware of a feeling in my uterus, tired even with good sleep, bloated, sore boobs (longer than usual), extra sensitive while intimate with DH, a bit more cranky, off and on headache, peeing more volume, slightly dizzy earlier today. Now I seem to be coming down with a cold (stuffy, sneezing), which hasn't happened in over two years. Maybe it is related, maybe it is just from being in different peoples homes lately. Oh and I did not spot like usual 4-5 days prior to AF or get the tale-tale pimple. Mmmh??

I really wonder when I will test positive. I have a weird family history. My Mom had her "periods" through-out her entire pregnancies and did not test positive until about 4 months along. My DH said wait until I have a big round belly!! Like either one of us could be that patient, lol.

We are pretty close in our cycle. I tested at 9, 10, 11 and 13 DPO -all BFN's.

AF was due yesterday but still hasn't shown! Anxiously waiting for it and trying to remain hopeful until then.... I'm 14 DPO today. I'm out of tests.

Have you had any symptoms? I know my body is not acting right for AF to be here and I have had other things happen that keep giving me hope.
Do you know, are loose bowels/diarrhea a EPS?

I was supposed to start today. I usually have a perfect 26 day cycle, where I start in the morning right when I go to the bathroom. I know stress and telling your body not to start can delay things, so I will not take it as proof. I am thinking about waiting until Sunday to test, when AF would be finishing if she started on time. I doubt I can wait that long though, haha.

I don't know when I ovulated, but I tried to get pregnant on the 19th and 20th of Sept. On 30th Sept evening I had small amounts of blood mixed with clear stretchy mucus. I thought it might have been the beginning of my period, as they usually start with spotting and I thought it was too late for implantation bleeding. The whole day of the 1st Oct I had only a very small amount of blood and more clear mucus again. This time the blood was period coloured though.

I thought it was all over. But today is 24 hours after that, and I still haven't started my period though. When I went to the toilet and wiped I thought maybe I saw the teensiest bit of blood, but then I didn't know whether I was just looking for things. The type you have to squint at and try hold it up to the light and see if you see what you think you are seeing.

So now I dont know. My breasts are a bit tender at the moment, but I really can't tell whether I'm clutching at straws or not.

If I originally tried on the 19th and 20th when do you think would be okay to test? I suppose I should just wait til tomorrow to see if I get any blood between now and then as FMU is all gone for today anyway.

I am close in cycle to you, AF was supposed to start today. I had pinkish CM on my T-paper this afternoon. I usually spot like that for 4-5 days before and this time there was nothing until today. Also, I usually start with a flood the morning of.
I am trying not to be discouraged though because some women think AF is starting but it doesn't. Some have even had a weird period and still got their BFP.
For you, I would probably try tomorrow with FMU. If BFN, wait a bit more. Some ladies don't show on these home tests until way after AF. I suspect I will be one of those ladies because other women in my family are.

For me that is an early AF sign, I get loose bowels a day or 2 before AF arrives, I had it a number of days ago and thought AF was arriving, but here we are at 15 DPO (not for sure- just estimated by EWCM) AF was due 3 days ago and still isn't here. I also have tender boobies but again that can be a sign of AF for me. All tests have been BFN, so I know im not pregnant, Im just waiting for AF so I can start planning out the next cycle.

Sorry if AF is here for you, are you testing today if not?

What I'm reading from this thread is - EPS are different for everyone & may or may not mean a darn thing...sigh. I don't even know what cycle day I'm on - either 6 or 8 DPO, FF and I are having a disagreement about that. I did have some spotting the last 2 days, but none today. Usually I would get spotting the day before AF - but nothing today, so fingers crossed!

I'm going to hold off testing until at least 12DPO...my luteal phase is usually about 10 or 11 days.

I've been nauseated on & off throughout the past couple of days, but I'm refusing to believe that it could be NVP this early. I'm chalking it up to stress. It's easier that way!

I'm in the same boat, but I am only 5 dpo. I can't wait and already took a pregnancy test with a BFN. I have something going on in my uterus though. I feel kind of like I did last time I was pregnant, as if my uterus is staring to fill up. I have some sinus stuff going on, and when I cough it sometimes hurts in my uterus. Also my nipples still hurt, which they normally do when I ovulate and it usually only lasts a couple of days. Oh and I have to pee a lot. I really hope this isn't all psychosomatic.

This is good to know....for me, constipation is always somewhat of an issue, but in the last few days its been worse.

I've taken 4 tests - all BFN - but I don't think AF is due till Sunday.
