I'm at hospital and set up inroom. Baby was having delayed response after my Braxton hicks and platelets still low. Still waiting on contractions etcbutpart of me is quitehappy for the slowness due to lackod pain mess being offered. So baby will be here one way or another by end of weekend. Good luck all!

Be strong, mama!!! I'm excited that you will meet your baby soon, and hopefully you can come up plenty of other ways to cope with the induction. It helps me to think of myself as a wild animal...what would I do if I were in the woods alone and laboring? Would I want to be standing? Sitting? Laying? In water? Make noise? It's different for every person, and sometimes every contraction even! Take it one at a time...you can do it!

My good friend had a pre-e induction with lots of pit and she reported *very* minimal pain, so I know it's possible to do witout an epi and have a great birth!

Sending lots of easy labor vibes! Can't wait to read about all of these new babies tomorrow morning.

Woke up after a very short sleep. I'm not in pain but have an uncomfortable band tightening in my upper abdomen making it hard for fullbreath. They come every 2 minutes or so and are hard to sleep through. I've not been checked for dilation since I've been here but based on the lack if pain, I don't think I'm too far yet.
If bed wasn't so uncomfortable maybe I'd try for a nap though I guess I should give it a shotanyway..
Thanks for the support!

Hang in there! A nap is definitely a good idea, don't be afraid to ask for more pillows, make yourself a pillow nest to see if you can find a comfortable spot that way.

Not everyone feels horrible pain when in labor, so maybe--just maybe--you're one of the lucky ones!! And even if this is just early labor, it's at least preparing your cervix and your uterus for the job ahead, so it's not without purpose

You can do this, mama!!!
