Hello -

I'm trying to move to SC so I can go to midwife school (Lyman) . I'm also hoping to find an area that would be ok with a 2 mom family.

Thanks

The midwife school is in Lyman, SC? I know an elementary school that might work in Charleston, SC, but I think anywhere else would be hard.

when i visited a gay business in charleston recently i was left with the impression that not getting harrassed by the police was an improvement and they viewed that as tolerant. i was consdering mmoving there at one point to be near family - that quickly changed my mind about it.

good luck with your search. hopefully there is a little contingency there we don't know about!!

not sure where Lyman is in relation to the SC/NC border, if environment is priority for you (an area ok with a 2 mom family), my recommendation would be somewhere close to Charlotte, NC... possibly Fort Mill, SC area.

My wife and I currently live in Raleigh, NC, but are in the process if moving to the Charlotte area. I just visited Charleston & Columbia a few weekends ago and the fight for equality in those areas is pretty intense. Hope this helps

Thanks everyone so much for the input. I read on city date mixed reviews.

Thanks again
