Mamas who speak Korean-- language learning recs?

Thread Starter
My ds12 is new to Korean class. All the other students have had at least 2 years of instruction. The teacher can work one on one with him a bit, but she suggested I help him at home.

Suggestions for websites, books, etc.? I speak no Korean myself (I have a tiny bit of Japanese, if that helps at all).

Thanks!

I'm interested in any replies too! We live in an area that has ZERO Korean speakers whatsoever. DH has lost the majority of his Korean, and we want the girls to learn!

Watch Korean TV/dramas/movies. Just leave it on in the background to help familiarize with the sounds. When I was eighteen I used to watch these with my mom and she would sometimes translate for me, sometimes not, and my comprehension really grew that yea.

and if you can get your hands on some korean kids tapes or music, thats good too. i surprised myself the other day by being able to belt out the korean nat'l anthem word perfect after not really having heard it in at least 15, maybe 20 years. but i used to listen to it on a tape all the time.
