Born at home yesterday morning at 7:55 am 9/26. After 16 hours of complication free, beautiful laboring, baby girl Piper Valen H. was born into her daddy's loving arms in our little cabin. She weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and is 18 1/2 inches long. And judging by the pitiful shape of my placenta, she wasn't born a moment too soon. We thought she was a miracle baby due to my tough pregnancy, but if you saw her placenta you would know she was a miracle for many more reasons. She is the most amazing being that I have ever known and loved. 
...and nursing like a champ! I will tell a more detailed story when I can sit for longer. My bottom tore a bit and is pretty sore. Thanks for everyone's well wishes during labor.
