Sarah is here! My dd buddy had her baby girl on 9/24 and I had mine on 9/25! Neither of us knew the other was going into labor! How funny is that? Our baby girl, Sarah Brooke Weathers did arrive by forced induction which I did not want but found out during her birth that we would not have had a good outcome IF spontaneous labor would have occured. She was entangled in her cord pretty severely, it was around her neck several times with another loop around her shoulder so when I pushed she was getting strangled. Her heart rate dropped to 45 which scared me but doctor said keep going...so I did. He did not even allow dad to cut the cord as he said it had to be done right then. Her body had not even emerged so there must have really been a need. I am thankful that we were in a hospital setting and we did get a wonderful doctor. There are a few things I was not thrilled with but who cares about those right now when there are new baby snuggles to be had? I will post the birth story within a few days. Stats are: 9/25 at 12:43 pm, 7 lbs and 3 oz., 20 inches.... I want to attach photo but am not sure how to do it right at this time-will figure it out later! Enjoy our babymoons, mamas!
