desperate housewives!! - Page 3

I was so mad I had my DVR set to record and it must have been running a little late and it stopped mid show! I saw the kids at the party running but missed from then on. Its so frustrating that this happens every Sunday night with the Amazing Race and football running over.

my dvr went beserk last week and deleted it WHILE I was watching it. And this week, the sound went out. Ugh. I'm SO glad ABC has the shows online or I would have been up-set.

OOO. COULD it have been the new neighbor wife lady that attacked Julie?

Gaby homeschooling is a trainwreck.

As a homeschooling mom, I thought the whole Gabby thing was hysterical. I did like that they added her telling Carlos that some moms can homeschool but that it is just not her thing and where her strengths lay. I think they did a good job of spoofing homeschooling without putting it down.

I don't knw if I like the new Katherine, I mean I love the actress but I don't know where she's going. She needs to get over Mike he's not that good she deserves better.

ITA

Seeing that it's Desperate Housewives, they very well could have gone down the typical, "homeschooling is weird" route. I'm actually very pleased that this popped up in the storyline, being homeschooling mom also.

And I swear there are some days where my daughter and I almost are Gaby and her kid

I hear ya, ~Boudicca~ Sigh...

I thought Gaby was funny too. I thought the story line was really in character with how she gets the housekeeper to work with her DD without telling Carlos. And I have to admit, I liked seeing a messy house on the show for a change! Makes it more real for me.

What I don't like are those Sprint commercials. They just bug me.

Oooh! I hadn't thought of that! I was so focused on it being the dad, I hadn't considered the mom. That would fit in with the detective saying that it wasn't a crime of a woman...

I agree. (I don't think I could handle homeschooling her daughter, either.)

I'm really enjoying this show. This is the first time I've ever gotten into this series.

I am loving Gaby homeschooling--- she and Carlos are my favorites! I don't think the new mom on the block strangled Julie because she's so careful about being good because of her "secret"... whatever that is (well we know about the burns)!

I am getting tired of Katherine though- it's just awkward now. Do you think they're going to kill her off/ make her leave?
Yeah, I'm not liking the scenes with Katherine.

Did anyone else get really hungry watching the last episode?
OK, I was kind of liking Gaby last week but this week? I thought they had hired a tutor to come and home school Juanita. So why the big change to try and bribe a priest to get her into Catholic school?? And the whole thing of Carlos sending Lynette to Florida? Yikes.

And for who strangled Julie, I think they are trying too hard to make it look like either the new guy or woman (I cannot remember either of their names) strangled the waitress last night. Therefore, I bet it was neither of them. It will probably turn out to be some crazy ex or a CIA agent or something.

hmmmm ... except the waitress asked the person if they forgot something, so it kind of sounded like that person had been there previously.

also, what did bree tell angie about why she was cheating ... especially the last line ... it sounds like "because orson loves lumber" or something like that. we couldn't figure it out and it seemed important.
I couldn't get what Bree said either. Anyone?

I think it was terrible for Lynette to lie, but sending her to Florida is a wee bit off! ANd how is that supposed to work out in the friendship - it will forever be broken. She lied, but she also got some big deals for Carlos and she would only take 3 months maternity leave, that's like nothing!
I wonder how that works out since they cannot afford for Lynette to loose her job financially.

I agree about the person who killed the waitress - they try to make it look like the new people, but it's prolly like an agent or headhunter or something.... And he was there to drink his coffee and watch/shadow the couple...

"orsen loves Opera"

I bet she goes back with Orsen...

I think the "Did you forget something?" is just a tease. I bet it will turn out to be someone else.

It's because Orson loves OPERA, not lumber . Remember, Bree went to Madame Butterfly with Carl and he was not too impressed. Then she came home right after and Orson was listening to Madame Butterfly and getting emotional and Bree gave him a lingering look?

I don't know what will happen with her job either. But I do know if she loses it, there will be all this talk of "How can we afford this??" but nothing will really change for them. Just like all the other times they hit hard times. They will still have a new car, etc.

Carlos really couldn't force her to go to Miami, could he? That other guy decided not to go to Miami and Carlos didn't fire him, it's not like Lynette has to go right? And like she said, he can't fire her because she is pregnant.

I thought it was "because Orson loves oprah" ... like she still has feelings for him.

I think it was the Angie that killed the waitress. During the last scene it seemed that someone was watching them through the window of the coffee shop and the waitress touches his arm when she said I want to go home - I'm closing up the coffee shop... I thought maybe it was her? Or maybe it was him?
