And it's starting again...

We'll see where tonight's activities take me. Nothing exciting yet, just light contractions. And this is always the baby's most active period, so he's going a little nuts in there, baby usually calms down by 10:30 or so, I'll start paying attention to contractions sometime after that and see if there's any pattern.

I did at least make a trip to the store and got some comfort food, so if these fizzle out, I'll have sinful food to make myself feel a little bit better (last night I had some instant oatmeal in the wee hours of the morning, which just didn't have the emotional effect I was looking for).

Good luck! And what is the sinful food? I found some Lindt dark chocolate cherry chili bars on clearance at Walgreens on Friday. I swear I would share if you were close by.

Thanks, but I'm a weirdo that doesn't like chocolate (yes, we do exist!). I got a bag of skittles, a donut, some cereal I like, and some oyster crackers for the home made chili my hubby made today. The skittles will be opened soon It's a 1 pound bag, should last me a while if needed

Try to KUP. You are certainly getting closer and you're doing a good job of hanging in there!

Here's the sinful food I made tonight. I got the recipe from the Diaperswapper's Sept DDC
Quote:
2 1/2 Cups of flour
1 1/2 t.baking soda
3/4 t. cinnamon
1 t. ground ginger
1/2 t. ground cloves
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. cayenne pepper
8 T. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. molasses
1/4 c. egg whites

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda, spices & set aside. Cream the butter & sugars together. Add the molasses to the creamed butter, then add egg whites until combined. Add the dry ingredients slowly. Once incorporated, roll dough into 1 inch balls & place onto baking tray. Bake 8-10 minutes. Once cool eat as many as you can possibly stomach, lay down for a nap & wait for labor to begin!
There are good!! Though they haven't put me into labor yet!

Good luck! My cx picked up after eating 4 labor cookies and then petered out an hour and a half ago. grrrr I ended up taking something for heartburn...they didn't go down as good as I'd hoped

Much Love,
Gini

And POOF!! Nothing. It's like some sort of magic act..."The Incredible Uterus--It Can Go From Contracting to Not Ten Times a Day!!"

Tonight's contractions never got organized or strong at all, it was pretty boring really.

I got a few hours of DEEP sleep, I actually dreamed, a bad dream even (not related to baby). Now I'm having a snack and then will go back to bed.
