anyone watching amazing race this season? looks like an interesting array of competitors for the most part. although i don't like the poker girls very much and the engaged couple in red (lance and keri?).

i did not know it was on already. I will have to check it out

I'm routing for the guys from the Globetrotters, they look like they will be the most fun team this season. I'm also liking the father/son team, and the team with the one person who has Aspergers Syndrome. I think it will be an interesting season

Love this show! I really liked the new twist at the beginning, even though I was hoping that the yogis would go farther than that.

Really did not like a lot of the comments that Lance was making. But I'm sure he will make for some good tv.

I have a few early favs: brothers team, globetrotters and the friend/Aspergers syndrome.

i love the globetrotter team as well and am rooting for them to win-i also like the 'hot guys' team

I have the same early faves as most of you - the gay brothers, the best friends (one with AS), and the Globe Trotters.

also-i hope that was the last of the eating challenges, i always hate those and think they are unfair.

I finally watched it last night and it looks great so far. I really like the globetrotters, the hot guys and the father/son team so far. The team with the guy who has Aspergers is also growing on me. I really need to read up on AS to find out more about it. I thought it was awesome that he gave his jacket to the guy in Vietnam.

I decided that I don't like the lawyer guy. He came across as just being mean and an all around jerk.

I can't wait for next week.

Oooooooooh, I saw this was going to start and forgot to DVR it!!!

I gotta do that right now!

We just finished watching season 1 on netflix, that was fun!

We had stir-fry for dinner last night and my husband kept saying that too

I too am loving the Globe trotters, they seem like a fun team. I'm bummed the yogi's didn't go farther although I hated their little speak about being the first ones out. Lance makes me twitch I hope they crash and burn.

Bumping this back up

Did anyone watch last night? Lance is driving me crazy. I'm hoping that team "lion" is Phil-eliminated next week.

Sad to see Marcy & Ron go. I'm not sure why they decided to do the harder challenge and then wait forever to ask the locals for help! Not a very smart move on their part.

Last night was my first episode and I 1000% agree with everything you've said.

Lance and Keri need to go bye-bye and leave the rest of us in peace.

I hate it that the token "old" couple always seems to get eliminated early on.

I like the globetrotters more each time I see them and I dislike the Lions more each time I see them. I think that the Lions are going to self-destruct pretty soon. I'm still undecided about the poker girls.

This is my favorite show! AR and the duggars are the only two shows I actually tune into each week. I'll nurse the baby to sleep on my lap so I can watch.

I loved the Globe trotters in the dancing road block this week! I hope they win. And the scene when the gay guys came out, then the dad said "since we're revealing things, you're adopted" to his son was hilarious. I like how light-hearted this season is. Usually I stop watching near the end of the season because it gets so negative.

eta: oh yeah, i like miss america's husband. He was awesome when she was losing it in the bell counting challenge.

I felt bad watching the girls' team crash and burn! I thought they had been one of the strongest until now! It was too bad that one challenge was just impossible for them!

I find it so interesting how different challenges are so easy for some teams, but completely do others in- like the bell counting, they all just counted them up and got it right, but Ericka couldn't get it no matter how hard she tried! And the dinger before the dancing was so easy for the teams with men, but impossible for the women, as well as the golfing!

I couldn't believe the one girl did not go down the water slide last week. I can understand a phobia of heights or water, but duh, it's the amazing race, you are going to have to either jump off something high or swim! Why come on the show if you already know you'll refuse to do those things? I sure wouldn't do them, either, so I'm not applying to be a contestant! I can't believe they'd get so far and have to leave just because she wouldn't do it.
