What is a normal amount of D/C during PG? Maybe TMI

I know this is kind of ick and TMI. But, I really needed to ask. I had to deal with a high leak twice this PG. The first time by the time they checked, it was sealed. This time, the MW didn't check, and I was sure that it sealed. There are times that I am not having anything during potty breaks, and then other times that I am dripping either white fluid or clear fluid. I can't figure out what it is half the time. I also "leak" just a tiny bit, from the pressure on my uterus from this being the 8th baby. But, that started WAY earlier than my other PGs, ever, like at 17 wks. The high leak was at 19.5 wks, and at 25 wks with small gushing, but it was less the 2nd time and tinted pink.

I have had a "juicy" pregnancy before, but I don't think it was like this. I do see my MW on Thursday and maybe have her try to figure out what is going on. But, I really want to feel better about this. the only time that I had cramping, ctx, or back pain was during the twin loss at 11 wks, and the initial day of the leaks. That has all gone away. Because of all this, my DH is getting a little frustrated, if YKWIM. He is patient, because he doesn't want me to end up with an infection, but I have never dealt with any complicated PGs until the end of #1.

So, if I am going through 12-20 not very absorbant pantiliners a day, is that too many?? It isn't all urine, although I know some is. But, that used to only happen in the last 2 mos or so, and like I said, this started a long time ago. So, if I estimate that less than half of that is urine (or less), is that still too much? Can it be an ongoing leak that just never turns positive? I did test some of it with PH strips a while ago, but it was white, not clear. It always was D/C, but I don't know that it would show if it was mixed, like a juicy pregnancy plus a small high leak. KWIM?

I am now 27.5 wks. I will see if they can do an U/S on Thurs to make sure fluid levels are good. Unfortunately, this PG may bankrupt us even though we have insurance, because of all this and that. I can't afford to keep going to the ER, as my DH works a lot, and the copays are outrageous. I did that one time, and DH missed work the next day, when I had a migraine, but there really aren't any other reason to bother to be seen unless I have ctx or back pains or the baby stops moving. The baby is moving fine.

And, I wonder if I have been making too much out about this whole thing, and making my poor DH abstain, when all this is just normal PG stuff. So, does this sound like normal PG stuff? Kymberli

I leak a whitish thin discharge during pregnancy at times, and at times it is copious. Have you been checked for an undiagnosed yeast infection? There was one lady in my DDC who suspected a leak and found out it was increased discharge from an undiagnosed yeast infection. I don't have any other ideas. I wish you all the best. I hope your U/S goes well.

I wondered about the yeast infection, but I really don't think I have that. I could get that checked, but I have had a lot of YI with one PG from stress, and it was NEVER like this. I think I can even get a test at the store. Kymberli

UPDATE: Whatever the "leak" was, it is for sure gone now. YEAH! Now, the other leak, I don't seem to be able to get rid of, but normal non-baby stuff. Oh, the joys of #8 PG. LOL

So, THAT is good news. The only thing that did bother me last night, was that all evening, I kept having lower back ache (although not constant, painful when happening), although a few BH ctx. Nothing seemed to take them away. I have been checking things occasionally because of the back ache on and off, and the previous leaks, so I wanted to be sure it wasn't preterm labor. (Did very sanitarily though.)

Early on, I was certainly closed. Although, being multipara, that isn't normal, of what I was told. Then, I was open later, and closed back up. Well, last night, it really seemed like things were really open but not dialated, and I didnt' want to aggravate anything. I went to bed and the back ache went away. So, maybe it was just the gravity and all that has happened the last 2 mos.

SO, feeling great today. No leak whatsoever. THAT is a good thing. It just took a while to reseal this time, I guess. Kymberli
