valentine ideas?

My ds needs to bring valentines for his Kindergarten class this Friday. Does anyone have any suggestions of something he could make. (I don't want to do store-bought ones.) I was trying to think of something that included seeds somehow. Does anyone know how to make those cards with seeds that can be planted right in the ground? (Trying to think of environmentally friendlier valentines, if there is such a thing!)
Thanks...

I would try posting this again in the diggin in the earth forum, as some of those snappy gardeners may have just the thing for this idea!

What a great link on how to make seed paper....I'll definitely have to bookmark that to try soon!!!

This Valentine's we focused on stamping in pink, red and orange to make Valentine's and my DD had such a great time - we made potato stamps and sponge stamps (both cut into hearts) and then searched around for other things to use - did some lego block printing, marble painting, mini car wheels, etc ....until it inevitably turned into hand prints and finger painting! Anyways, it was a really fun way to spend the afternoon and interesting to brainstorm on what we could make interesting patterns with! I especially liked the way the lego turned out (we used the jumbo stuff) and the truck wheels! I'd love to hear what other ideas people have been doing to get into the spirit of Valentine's....!
