I guess I might have to resubscribe to Showtime...
I haven't tried YouTube, but I've had some luck finding new episodes posted quickly on MegaVideo. It's all in one file and the quality and streaming speed tend to be good, but the downside is that after watching ~60 minutes or so in a 24-hour period they block your access for an hour and nag you to pay. Blech. Though if you're just watching 1 episode of Dexter, that isn't a problem.

Thanks! That's good to know. I will have to use a great deal of self control to wait until my homework is done to watch that

I'm feeling a little burned by the internet videos because I did find several and they all showed 60 minutes on the little ticker bar but right around 40 minutes, it quits playing and resets to the beginning... very annoying but clever tactic

deh-deh-deh!

oooh, it was a great episode last night! I loved the kill he chose this time. Very appropriate on many levels.

The end was shocking. I never saw it coming. DH was shocked too. Man oh man! I wonder if they're killing Lundy off? I guess that would solve some problems for everyone...

*SPOILERS* I'm going to be talking about the last episode "Dex Takes a Holiday" (#4), so if you haven't seen that one, don't read any further!!

I have to say, I'm not enjoying this season very much. It's about to jump the shark for me, KWIM? I think the whole marriage-and-a-baby thing ruined it.

First of all: why is Dex pulling night shifts with the baby? He works full-time, and Rita is a SAHM, with two older kids in school all day. It's just stupid for Dexter to be getting up with the baby at night. It's stupid to the point of being distracting, but at least they seem to have moved on from that storyline.

Second: when did Rita become such an annoying, nagging, PITA? I really don't like her at all anymore, and I'm hoping to see her shrink wrapped to a table by the end of this season. She scolds Dexter like he's one of her kids, "You haven't been a very present father or husband lately". Oh, kiss it Rita. It's easy to be 'present' when you sleep a full 8 hours and then do nothing all day (that house is a mess). And then the way she was talking about the kids when she got back from the wedding "I wanted to strangle them" - she said that right in front of them!!

Also, why do they have to paint LaGuerta as this woman who is just desperate for a man? When she's done making doe eyes and sighing at Batista, will she move on to Masuka? (I might, actually, stay tuned for that.)

The last epi really blew chunks. First there's the woman that the Trinity killer killed. She's just driving along with that freak in her back seat? Seriously? Hasn't she seen Oprah? If someone is forcing you to a secondary location they are going to kill you. Fight back! Swerve around, crash your car, blow your horn. Even if he had a gun on her, she was in control of that car and could have done something. Passive women annoy me.

And Deb. Deb, Deb, Deb. How many seasons of Deb choosing the wrong man will we be forced to watch? Really, we've yet to be shown a ballsy, independent, strong female character on this show who doesn't need a man to prop her up. Except for Ellen Wolf...and look what happened to her. There was a time when I thought that the series would eventually end with LaGuerta figuring out who Dexter really was, but they've turned her into such a weak character that I can't see that happening now.

I know..."it's a show!", but the first two seasons were really clever, funny, exciting and suspenseful, as well as a little gory and scary. I was able to suspend my disbelief and enjoy the shows. Now, it's become predictable and tired and I spend much of the hour thinking, "it could never happen that way."

I can't believe what happened to Lundy MissMommy: If you watch the trailer for next week, it is clearer that he dies.

Kinda solves the whole "telling your boyfriend you just cheated on him" dilemma.

I must be a heartless person, because that was the first thing that jumped into my head. "Oh. She doesn't have to break Anton's heart now". But I'm sure she still will.

Watching Deb and Lundy together was such a buzz kill (not that the show is offering me much of a buzz these days). It was just a flaming heap of "ick". I know that the character (Deb) has some daddy issues that she needs to work through, but I'd rather not watch it. Maybe if they'd found a sexier actor to play Lundy? Sean Connery, maybe? (I don't feel bad saying that, because Hollywood has such double standards regarding older men/younger women vs. older women/younger men.)

I am really glad I decided to rewatch "Dexter takes a vacation" because I missed the last few VITAL minutes. Can't wait for tonight's episode.

Does anyone here read the books?

In her defense it's an easy thing to do lol

Ugh, anyone else disturbed that Rita gave the baby a FULL bottle of water when they were at Dex's apt? I'm thinking, "Thanks for continuing that thought process"

I'm really tired of the whole Deb thing. I hate what they're doing with her character. I preferred her as a loud, brash, b!*ch...

I'm glad the person who died is gone. He was creepy and I didn't like him at all. Like Dexter's not creepy .

was kinda hoping Rita would find something in Dexter's apt.. then he wouldn't have to put up with her crap and neither would we!

I think this week's episode was a good one. I can't wait for Dexter to catch Trinity.
That will definately be something to see esp. with his new realization about Trinity.

I was really thinking (ok, hoping) that she would find his "kit" and he'd have to kill her.

I thought last night's episode with the counseling was crap. Get rid of her ass already!

I think she has a copy of the keys to the padlock she gave him...
