Oh, man! A fourth victim! I cannot wait to see next week! it's counting down, I wonder if they will resolve it before the season ends or leave a big cliff-hanger until next season? Well, at least when it's over, I can save $15 a month on Showtime!

I don't think so...the previews showed some sort of hidden door in the woods to some underground thing...all very creepy looking!

I was very upset when Masuka threw his delicious chocolate lava cakes in the garbage. I choose to believe that he went and got them out again later and they were still okay for the family to have for dessert...and if there was a little bit of garbage or baby poop on them, it only got on the cakes served to Rita and boring Elliot!

OK, that entire episode was VERY hard for me to watch. And the thought of ALL THOSE BOYS who were burried alive in cement over the years seriously makes me want to HURL. I know, I know, its fake. BUT LORD! Twisted writers!

The opening scene also made me want to vomit. please see siggy for details. It actually kinda pissed me off, but thats just me.

If I wasnt such an avid Dexter fan, I prolly would have turned the TV after the first 5 minutes of this episode. It effected me that negativly. Im glad its over. lol No more crimes against small children please?!?!?!!?

ETA, I think they will finalize Trinity, but leave the whole Rita thing as a cliffhanger for next season. They are usually pretty good at buttoning things up on dexter from season to season.

I felt the exact same way. I completely choked back the gagging reflex in those scenes with the boy...the cement made me audibly moan, my husband kept holding my hand...if I wasn't a huge longtime dexter fan, i would not watch that show again. ugh.

I had forgotten what the last few episodes of the season are like! They get way too exciting for me. I squirm and groan and cover my eyes through the whole episode.

I agree that they will wrap up Trinity. I think that the Rita issue will get bigger in the next episodes and then they will leave us hanging.

I'm curious if anyone but Dexter is going to make the connection to Trinity and the boys. I would think Dexter would want to bring it to someones attention so that the other boys could be found.

Oh! What's going on with the daughter, Christine? At least (I hope) we know Trinity won't kill her if she's with the police, but it looks very twisty turny for the last two episodes! I wish they would just show them both together and get it over with! The teasers for the upcomings were almost too much!

Hmm...yes, very twisty turny!

I was cringing the whole time. I actually had to turn the volume down so I wouldn't hear him crying And then Rita complained about his not sleeping and having a fever? I actually said, "Well, you brought it on yourself" to the TV.

I've stopped trying to guess what happens in this show. lol They've stopped being predictable.

Rita quote,"Those shots really did a number on him". Atleast they made her character's instincts tell her it was WRONG. That look on her face was one of complete insecurness and doubt. If they had made her say anything along the lines of'," sorry sweety, but you need these," with a big smile on her face, I prolly would have thrown my shoe at the television.

OK, sorry mods, for going OT. please don't yank me, I just had to throw that out there. All the lack of BFing has gotten to me too.

I don't understand the boy being part of the cycle. Obviously, Arthur was never encased in cement and buried in the foundation of a house... Is it symbolic somehow? Preserving innocence or something? Or getting rid of his feelings? I haven't figured this one out.

I think it's just symbolic of preserving innocence. I remember Dexter saying something like "oh, he's putting them in the cement, preserved forever...." And I thought, "thanks for spelling in out for us, Dex!"

Yeah, and did you notice the cosleeping reference? She said she was going to bring him into the bed with them that night since he wasn't feeling well.

I noticed that...it's like just when they seem SO mainstream the writers toss something slightly crunchy into the mix. Pretty good on the writers' part; keeps the audience level

At first I was just thinking, "yay cosleeping!" and then I thought...I wonder if the writers are trying to hint that Rita doesn't want to be alone with Dexter (because of the neighbor).
