Nervous but excited ramble

I'm 36 & 1/2 weeks - almost at 37 weeks!!!

But since my son came at 37 weeks + 2 days I've been a little nervous that I might go earlier. Though, for some reason, I DO think our new baby will stay in a little longer than he did, but I guess we'll see. Right now I'm just hoping to make it until Friday because I have to be 37 weeks for a home birth with my current midwife. So stay put Baby please... at least until Friday!

I'm getting a whole lot of BH contractions though that aren't always that comfortable; they're often quite a bit more intense than they were just a few weeks ago. And I want to take walks regularly like I did with my son (not to induce naturally - yet since it's still too early - but since I think walking can be helpful to the labour process) but I'm a bit nervous since I know walking can induce labour, though I did take a long walk this morning. Once Friday comes, I won't be as nervous. And I'm also still nursing my son (usually just when he's sleepy or when he wakes at night), which also makes me a bit nervous since nipple stimulation can induce labour... and sometimes I do get BH contractions when he is nursing. But I think things will be okay.

Well I guess I just wanted to get that out somewhere.

We have most of our supplies ready, but I've just got to make sure. We have my midwife's birth kit and I asked her if we should open it and she said yes - to make sure everything's there (I figured) and also because a little thing of Pitocin? has to go in the fridge. Does anyone know if it is okay if this freezes? Just wondering because there is something wrong with our fridge. During the summer, we had it looked at because it kept getting too warm. Well after the guy finally came to fix it, now it gets too cold and keeps freezing our food! So I may just get my husband to bring it to work and put it in the fridge there.

Where have you guys ordered things like Chux pads? How good are cloth pads (for PostPartum) for those who have used them?

Any last minute tips for me?

Okay, that's all for now.
