Dollhouse-season two

Does anyone mind if I start a new thread for the new season of Dollhouse? What did you'all think of the first episode?

I need to watch it again, but I loved how Caroline verbalized to Ballard that she remembers all her personas. I *really* loved how Adele nailed Ballard about releasing November/Mellie. I, too, thought he did it because he preferred Caroline, and didn't want Mellie to be in the way. I'm a little confused by the Topher/Whisky dynamic, but it's fascinating.

I haven't watched the season premiere yet, but I'm going to today. Just wanted to post to say I love Dollhouse And I'm excited for the second season. Especially since Alexis Denisof is in it...Mmmm...Wesley!

It figures I'd go into labor the day of the primere. I watched it but missed a lot to pace. I do remember the priviews for next week and don't think it is something a new mama should watch.

Oh, Masel, congrats on your daughter's arrival!!!! I just read your birth story - how wonderful! My DD was the same size.

I think you're off the hook for missing Dollhouse due to the circumstances. ITA about the second episode. I'll watch it this weekend - I'll PM you if it winds up not being too freaky.

Your post reminded me of when I was still *really* into 24. I couldn't stand to miss an episode 30 hours after delivery, so I nursed my newborn all the way through the episode. Good times.

It was emotional (and YAY for bfing on TV!!!! And babywearing, even if it was a bjorn!) but did not end badly. No blood.

I haven't seen the latest episode yet, but I really hope it gets better. I thought the first episode of this season was just awful. I did not like all the sex stuff and just thought it was kind of lame. If it doesn't get better I don't think I will keep watching, which is a major bummer because I was a rabid fan of the first season.

I just watched this week's episode on Hulu.com. I thought it was amazing.

Warning :: Spoiler Ahead! Highlight to read message!
I love how Topher messed with Echo so that she'd lactate. And how her hormones were stronger than the wipe. Yay for maternal instinct! I also really love that Echo expressed the desire to keep remembering and feeling - even the difficult things - rather than go back to ignorance. Fabulous!

I'm very interested in seeing where this season goes.

Someone remind me what happened to Dr. Saunders?
The original Dr Saunders was killed by Alpha. With some tweeking Topher put the doctor's mind in the scarred active, Whiskey. She realized this at the end of the season last year that she was a doll.

The actress has a part on another show, Happy Town, so she's no longer a regular on Dollhouse.

I just watched Belle Close on Fancast. (Hulu was too slow for me). The actor who plays Victor, WOW. To go from that psycho to Kiki. Wow. I have to say that my favorite bit was Medieval Lit being Intermediate Evil not even beginner evil. I would have to quibble the prof about medieval identify but hey, he got was he deserved.

I was pretty creeped out by this last episode. The psycho shooting up his victims with large amounts of novocaine...eek! And then posing them...EEK!

I really liked what they did though. Pretty interesting! I'm glad to hear that the season was picked up for few new episodes (at least). http://www.pinkisthenewblog.com/2009...ouse-is-saved/

Anyone watch the last episode of Dollhouse? I just did, and am still processing everything that happened. I really like Sierra and Victor together though. So sweet.

I can't believe they aren't playing it till December 4th. Fox loves to take good shows and fool around with the schedules.

Woot! It's back! Did anyone else watch?

I really enjoyed this episode. I actually laughed out loud at parts of it.

So, the names come from the NATO Phonetic alphabet (Alpha, Echo, November, Victor, Whiskey) but there are more than 26 dolls...so what are the others' named? (And is there a doll named Xray?)

Questions: Why did DeWitt send Priya and Anthony (Sierra and Victor) to the attic if the whole point was to send in Echo to retrieve some information?

What do you think Paul is missing? Do you think they took away his feelings for Echo?

In the attic when they were talking to that guy (one of the founders) what did he imply about Caroline? I missed that point. Was it that she knew who was the other imprinted founder?

Also they other guy in the attic... wasn't he the one who molested Sierra? Why would they bring him back, ugh.

Oh and why was Topher's assistant being so weird to him after her meeting with Dewitt?

Maybe so she would have help? Maybe so they wouldn't try to rescue her or otherwise screw things up? Maybe to make the cover story more convincing?

That was my thought.

Something like that, I think.

That was Sierra's nightmare, her fear, her hell. That's what she had to relive, her unsolvable problem.

Not sure about that one. I thought that part was confusing and poorly done. I think she said Dewitt wanted to see if she could take Topher's place, but she was acting as though she found out Topher stole her soul or something.

No, not that guy, the guy who was helping Echo in there. He used to be the head security guy and they caught him doing bad things to Sierra and Dewitt put him in the attic. He's a slime ball.

Well there are only 3 episodes left I hope they answer our questions.
