We make this daily. It can make two loaves of bread and a pizza. Or a pizza and cinnamon rolls and a loaf of bread. Or a batch of soft pretzels and a batch of bagels. Or two calzones and a load of flat breads. Or....
Do you just mix it, then bake it? Let it rise? what do you bake it one. I have only made bread twice so Im still new to all this . Thanks

Apple butter is $10/ pint jar for organic, but I can it at home for almost nothing, because we have apple trees. I use it as a spread and in baking.

Snacks for school lunches and away-from-home outings in general. I portion things like organic cereal, dried fruit, cooked veggies, pita or taco chips, crackers, pretzels, the balance of a jar of homemade applesauce or yogurt, and leftover stove-top popped popcorn in plastic containers and leave them in designated spots in fridge or pantry where the lunch-packers can help themselves. My pantry is no longer full of all the packaging that goes with purchased convenience snacks, or all the little bits like the last few taco chips in a bag, etc.

We use up leftover fruit and yogurt in smoothies and then fill popsicle molds with the leftovers. My boys LOVE yogurt popsicles, so much healthier than storebought ice cream or similar alternatives.

Every family member has a Kleen Kanteen and we fill them with water every morning. We are in the habit now of grabbing them when we leave the house. It has saved us a lot on buying drinks.

Almost anything baked will cost less than store-bought. $3 for a package of 4 muffins is a sale. Holy cow!! The prices are for the convenience. If you don't have the time, what choices do you have? If you have the time, most things are more cost-efficient and heathier to make yourself.
