I hope this is the right place. I just want to know what you wear to bed. I leak so bad each time dd latches on which is every 2 hours. Bras are sooo uncomfortable. I have to wash my tanks after each night. What do you wear?

cotton flannel button jammie tops.
also a towel to sleep on, so i could change it easily if it go too humid!

good luck!

I wear a really light sleep bra to bed. It's so loose it's really worthless for "support". It's no tighter than a t-shirt.

It just holds my breast pads where they're supposed to be so that I don't end up soaking myself and the bed, and the baby. Without it I've had to get up at night and change my own clothing, baby's clothing, and the sheets.

If its really bad you can stuff a prefold into a sports bra. I mean its night time so you dont have to worry about how it looks.

I wore a light sleep bra with a cloth diaper stuffed in it. At it's worse I wore a diaper on each side and slept on a towel.

I could leak so bad at night it required a complete bed change.

My doctor said she used to just stuff a towel in her nightgown.

I love the nursing pads made by fuzzi bunz. They are very absorbant, but don't feel wet against your skin. Also they have the PUL backing, just like the diapers, so I have never soaked through... even after being away from my baby for 5 hours before getting to pump!

With my first baby I slept topless on a folded towel. It was soaked every morning.

Luckily, I don't leak that much anymore, and can get by on nursing pads.

I sleep in this gown http://www.preciousimagecreations.co...p?idproduct=84 and used wool pads when I was leaking a lot. There was plenty of room in the bra shelf to hold the pads. The gowns are a little pricey, but have held up great (alternately wearing the same two almost nightly for 2+ years now.)

I really want to try those fuzzi bunz pads a PP mentioned! The washable pads I use soak right though to the nursing tank, so Ive been using disposable nursing pads in my nursing tanks. and thats all I wear, every day. I can't stand nursing bras either. I wish I had some good washable pads so I didn't have to go through so many disposable pads. I would soak my tank tops every time I nursed if I didn't always have pads stuck in there. If I don't feel like wearing a nursing tank, I usually just sleep with a towel draped over me.

Ooohh I want to try them too. I go through WAAAY too many disposable nursing pads.

I sleep in just a sports bra--the ones they sell at Target. They pull up easily and if you fall asleep with one boob out, it doesn't get all smashed and painful from the bra resting on it. DD and I also sleep on a towel-sized waterproof pad to absorb the inevitable leaks and drools.

I got one of these and slept with my top half on it: http://www.nekkieblankie.com/

I sleep in stretchy camisole tops with spaghetti straps (cheap ones in ugly colors off the clearance rack at Target). I pull my arm out of the side DS is going to nurse on and pull the shirt down and out of the way. I stuff a regular, full sized wash cloth in the other side. I keep a stack of clean wash cloths on my nightstand. That way when one gets too wet, I drop it on the floor next to my bed and grab a fresh one.

Just Kate & MarieKit -
I can send you the info for my friend who sells the pads. She doesn't have a website, but she will ship things. She sells 3pairs for $9.99.

They are great! I send them to all of my pregnant friends!

This is what I did too. Just got a really loose and stretchy "crop top" style bra just so I could keep some heavy duty nursing pads in place but it was so loose that it really wasn't any support and I could just pull it down easily to nurse in the middle of the night.

Have you tried Lanawool Exstra pads? I slpurged on 2 pairs when DS2 was born- and while I have had a few leaks- they have been worth every penny.
