Attached are 2 pictures of our healthy baby boy Ashford Marcus, born 9/28/09 at 10:15am after an intense 6 and a half hour labor at home. He is 8 lbs. 3 oz., 22 in. long, with a 14cm head. We are now resting at home and doing well despite a 6 hour trip to the hospital after the birth for myself because I was loosing too much blood from what turned out to be a 3rd degree internal tear. Ashford decided to come out with his elbow next to his head. 
It was torture leaving Ashford so soon after the birth but the hospital would not allow him to come with me unless he was checked in as a patient. We are both very much in love with our new baby. He started nursing as soon as I returned from the hospital. Must go rest and cuddle now!
