My 2.5 yo was totally potty trained... never had any accidents. Then DS came and so did the constant piddling. At first I refused to put her back in diapers, thinking it was a step backward. SHe was going on the pot most of the time... but having a bunch of accidents all over the house.
I couldn't stand cleaning it up anymore and I was starting to get kind of crabby (ok I totally yelled at her a bunch of times- god help us all to heal)
about the piddling.
Finally, I pulled all the carpet out of the house and put her back in diapers.
Now she NEVER pees in the pot.
She is all freaked out if I try to encourage it.
Luckily she is going #2 in the pot!!!
We have been working hard to heal and reconnect after birth of DS.
We unweaned, I stopped yelling all the time (like I said god help us...)
I am giving her lots of time and encouraging words.
When can I expect her to repotty train?
How can I approach it without triggering her control buttons?
Now she doesn't even let me change her diaper... she walks around with a droopy diaper and refuses to deal w it on her own or allow me to help her without a struggle. The whole thing is starting to really stink- pun intended
help me mammas!!!!
