Hi all, I'm an American living in England (have lived here for over 3 years), married to an Englishman, and would love to meet some like-minded mama friends. I have a 14 month old and I'm expecting my second in February. I have tried Netmums/similar and got some response from my posting, but I'm having a hard time meeting anyone with the same parenting ideals as me. I never imagined what a difference it could possibly make, but most of the moms I've met are very mainstream and react as if I have 3 heads if I ever talk about breastfeeding/cosleeping/babywearing/etc! It definitely stalls conversation when initially all you have to talk about is your kids. 
I am active in my local LLL and it's a great place to spend time with other AP-style moms, but I'd love to get together with people more often!

We do get out that way every now and then so it would be great to meet up if we ever get a chance.
