ETA: Shelfari is a social networking site (sort of) that's really all about books... it has a virtual bookshelf that you can fill with all the books you have read, own, want to read, etc. I removed the link to my account for privacy reasons after I thought about it, but if anyone wants to be my shelfari friend I'll send you the link

I love shefari. I read a ton of series, so i mostly use it to keep track of them. Usually when I read a book that isn't part of a series I don't bother to put it in, unless I'm trying to remember something to read later.
