Need a book suggestion

Hi everyone,

I have to go to bed very early with my dd and I am going through books like crazy. Some of my favorites are Wally Lamb, Jodi Piccoult, The Red Tent, The Secret Life of Bees....just to give an idea of what I read.

I just want the title of the last great book you read, one you could not put down. TIA

Here are some I recently enjoyed:

The Story of Edgar Sawtelle
My Sister's Keeper
Handle With Care
Water for Elephants
The Poisonwood Bible

Thanks for the reply...we must have the same taste in books since I have read all of your suggestions except for Handle with care. I will look into it. I think I can trust your judgment

Blue Water by A. Manette Ansay
Vinegar Hill by A. Manette Ansay
Ya Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
Little Children by Tom Perotta
Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates

Trying to suggest books I really enjoyed that might be your taste, but if you really want a good recommendation from me, I recommend a good memoir like The Glass Castle, Angela's Ashes, or The Liars Club.

I really like Maeve Binchy. I own nearly all of her books and I've read them multiple times. . . like to the point that I'm going to have to replace a few of them soon .
