DS's penis hurts, and I can't find a doctor I trust - Page 2

It is possible it could be something else but infections or yeast show up as swelling and discharge and a lot of pain so unless any of those show up usually it is just seperation. Did you see this thread http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=764732

I haven't read through all of the replies yet, but I notice that with my kids, they say "it hurts" even if it's just a different feeling, not necessarily pain. Itch, feels funny, etc. Maybe having an erection is just a weird feeling that he is just now noticing, so he is saying it hurts.

Just a thought.

Next time he says this, try helping him find the words he needs to express what he is feeling. With DS when he got his eye drops at the eye Dr and didn't like them and tried to express it, I asked him "do the hurt or do they just feel weird?" He thought for a few moments, and decided they just felt weird.
Should've read first.

Exactly what I was thinking, but couldn't say quite as well.
