What's your budget for Fall clothes for your LO? - Page 3

Jacket, 3 pairs pants, 2 shirts, shoes, $30 ish. He had plenty of shirts and sweaters already and a pair of pants.

I got 4 onesies for DS2, $8. DH's co-workers have me well stocked in baby handmedowns.

Each year we spend about $180 for me, DS1, DS2. DH's shirts are issues by work and his pants and shoes are about $200.

Honestly I'm not sure as I bought them fall/winter clothing throughout the summer at garage sales. I only needed to buy shoes new.

We live in a varied climate, so our fall clothing includes: pants, tops, sweaters, vests, light jackets, heavy jackets, rainwear, and we need to have three pairs of shoes for the two older kids (indoor school, outdoor, indoor daycare), and two for the youngest.
THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one that had to get my kid a vest, a coat, a raincoat, and a jacket, every single freaking year. (I myself have a nice coat, but she wouldn't have one were it not one we got as a gift.)

And the shoes: snow boots, rain boots ('cause snow boots don't work in 3" of rain, really), sneakers for sport, mary janes for school, and dress shoes.

That in and of itself was $200 for DD1.

We live in a warm climate and don't need a separate fall/winter wardrobe. I also don't have a specific budget. I buy in advance from thrift stores and yard sales when the price point is less than $1. My son is a 3T right now and I am mostly buying 4T and some 5's. I found some size 6 perfect condition boys pants for 50 cents the other day so I bought them since I know boys pants are usually hard to find. I do buy new pajamas, underwear, and shoes. We are also lucky to get a lot of gift clothing from the grandparents.

I probably spend $200/year total for everything.

We try to stick to $300 per kid per season. I am a clothes fanatic. So far for fall/winter I've spent a little under $500 and still have to buy a bunch of stuff for my oldest.
