I went online to download the form to submit our claim for the homebirth to our health insurance.

"List those illnesses for which you are submitting bills and date of first symptom."

Ummm. Not that pregnancy is an illness, but I guess . . . 11/21/08? That's the day I conceived!

"Was the treatment the result of an accidental injury?"

Gosh, not by any definition I can think of!

"Was illness(es) or injury(ies) in any way work related?"

Again, I think not!

oh my, wish I was laughing, just openned a bill for over 1,000. didn't see it comming... ugh!

Yeah, well, this is the claim to maybe get a few hundred back out of the ~4K we spent out of pocket on this birth, so . . . I feel your pain.
