Should I give my twins pumped breastmilk in their regular milk?

I'm exclusively breastfeeding my 4 month old and plan to nurse him for a nice long time. With the idea that there could be some flu stuff going on this year, I was just wondering if I could pump my milk a bit and add it into my older children's milk. Neither of them are interested in actually drinking the pumped breastmilk on it's own. They are twins that will be 3 in January. So...

1. will adding pumped milk to their cow's milk destroy any important properties of the breastmilk

2. how much would they need to make a difference in their health??

3. Would it really make a difference to their health?

Thanks!!

Yes you can mix BM with regular milk...

Not sure how much health benefit it would provide but it certainly couldn't hurt either

I would totally do that if I had a weaned younger child during cold/flu season! Extra antibodies can't hurt!

I was actually going to ask this same question. I am looking forward to any further answers.

I have been doing this with my DS who is 2. I have a pretty good supply and have practically replaced his cows milk with BM.
