I can get into some pretty hardcore Christian music. Demon Hunter is one of my favorites, as well as Red---really, really love Red... Others are Underoath, Project 86, Haste the Day, Showbread, and Thousand Foot Krutch. Even more hard core would be The Devil Wears Prada and As I Lay Dying, though I don't get into them much; a bit tooo hard core! lol You might check out RadioU... think the site is www.tvulive.com/radiou They play quite a bit of the hard stuff. :-)

I just wanted to share something I had pondered before but was reminded of today... I find it SO exciting!!

Romans 8:18-22


romans 8:18-21

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

The way I see it is that if ALL of creation is waiting in abated breath to see who the sons of God are... It makes me question 'Well, who am I then, in God, for all of creation to be waiting in such hightened expectation for all of us to be finally revealed??' Its all for God's glory and praise. I dont know about you but when I realise that I get so excited. Its easy to feel fleshy and stuff, but if we can turn it around and see all this for what it really is, WOW, I get tingly and giddy and know joy inexpressably fierce. Bringing such glory to God brings me such joy! Its like creation is saying in its frustration 'Whats all this I hear about God redeeming these people? What is SO special about them?' God is SO excited to parade us as His beloved redeemed!

We know that until now, the whole of creation has been groaning as with the pains of childbirth; and not only it but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the spirit, groan inwardly as we continue waiting eagerly to be made sons-that is, to have our whole bodies redeemed and set free. It was in the hope that we were saved. But if we see what we hope for, it isn't hope - after all, who hopes for what he already sees? But if we continue hoping for something we don't see, then we still wait eagerly for it, with perseverance.

Its morning for me here right now, and Im just getting up and starting my day. Well my day actually started at about 3am when my dh came to bed... and woke me up . Its no bother tho...

I pray that today you are all very blessed in a very special, and personal, intimate way. But very big! Something that you cant miss! I pray that today we all hear God's wisper of how much He adores us! That in some way, we realise today just how much he's looking after us.

Father, I praise you. You are absolutely wonderful! Knowing you is absolutely incredible. The joy of knowing you is indescribable! The only thing that comes close in comparison is seeing others realise and know that same love. I dont want to force you onto anyone who doesnt want to know it. I dont want to be an offense, but Lord, if there is someone you want to show your love to thru one of us today, I pray you make it clear to us who and how. There are some people I specifically have in mind, you know who they are. I pray for the opportunity to show them your love, but I also pray that you your self would pour out your love and blessings on those people. I pray they would have eyes to see, and ears to hear.

Father, I pray you would keep us humbly focused on you today. When we are tempted to look elsewhere, Father, call us back.

In Jesus precious name I pray. Amen.

The David Crowder Band is really touching me right now, and I just adore Third Day. I am also digging on Jonny Diaz and Chris Tomlin.

I have recently come to know that "Christian" music is actually cool. I was raised in a strict, no instrumental music type Church and never heard stuff like this. I have never been happier than I am now.

I've been thinking a lot about Ecclesiastes 4:9 - 12 and what it means:

9 Two are better than one,

I praise God for giving me friends and family to stand with me, regardless of the circumstance. These verses also mean a lot to me because my DH is deployed to Iraq, and knowing that he has well-trained friends nearby to fight alongside him gives me great comfort.

Im not sure what to say today. I find myself in valleys one moment and on a mountain top the next. I find that doesnt change who I am in Christ. It never will. There are days when I can see Him SO clearly, then days when my vision is clouded by any number of things. All the same, nothing changes who I am in Christ. Nothing ever will. I am redeemed, I am cleansed! I am as greatful for the valleys, maybe more so, as I am for the mountains. As long as I keep moving, no matter what comes my way, Im doing alright by all accounts.

Another song I was looking for 'Purify My Heart'. I found it but not the version I wanted. The one I like is of a woman singing and I could only find different guys singing.

Zona, you sound like a woman after my own heart... Do you believe God has brought you to your circumstances for a reason? I believe in those times he refines us. He moulds us into what he wants us to be. I love the song refiners fire, did I post it yesterday... yeah, purify my heart...We are like that precious metal, he is the Master refiner. Everytime he places us into the fire, some of the dross burns away and he takes us out and looks to see if he can see His reflection a little more clearly. He never takes a lump of that metal and thinks 'Naaa, I cant work with that, its a mess!!!' He keeps putting us back in, sometimes even cools us off, lets us rest first for a bit, the back in we go. Till we reflect Him.

So, as time goes by, I dont necessarily relish in pain and suffering, but I understand what Jesus was saying when He said 'Blessed are those who weep, who hunger for righteousness...' et al... I am blessed in knowing Him in all my circumstances.

genifer: I believe I am right where I am supposed to be right now. I accepted Christ and was gifted with tounge=ues at 8. Turned to witchcraft in my teens and Satan has been in a struggle for my soul. It is only RIGHT now that I am not just reading but I am maturing in the word. I am fiding myself thinking of verses I have read becasue God seems to be giving me just what I need. I could complain incessantly about what is going on but I have finally decided I am not in control, I can't give it to Him and take it back This just shws I do not truly have faith. I am praising himn hwne things are good and praising hime when things are bad. Right now the "project" is to undo damage to my kids 12 and under becasue of the strife I had allowed in the house by believeing Satan's lies--I am not good enough, God doesn't trruly have a plan for me, I am still sinning. I am being showne the verses not that dispel his lies and realize I was a really good withc. Could do thinkgs that were just scarey and he is working overtime on me. But I praise him still for in him I am washed clean in the blood. No matter what I do ast long as I am repentant then I am his and I intend to remain his. I see the change in how I reprimand and it just proves what a mightly God I serve for if he can change me and it is a struggle, then he is definitley omnipitent and no other Gods come before him. He is first laways ( although I sometimes forget!) Praise himn today, praise him tomorrow and praise him when I sit at his table.-
