My cervix is definitely high today, no EWCM yet though. . .not sure I"ll get any though being on clomid. This is my first cycle, took it days 3-7 50mg. I am using Pre-Seed this month (posted earlier about it kinda burning, gonna try one more time tonight). For some reason I really have a good feeling about this month. . .which I think makes it worse! LOL
Anyway i look forward to obsessing with you ladies all month long! haha!

clomid can lower the amount of ewcm... so while you could still get it it is possible that you will never see it.

for pre-seed... thats one area I am thankful I do NOT lack in... had EWCM on O day this time that stretched 6 inches definitely put the EWWWW in EWCM



DF and I decided tonight for 100% certain we will not even leave it up to fate pre-wedding-cycle and will be CTA until then (though with him in NC and me in IL there wont be too much need for CTA... until his thanksgiving leave... but I can NOT get pregnant in November, that would put me due in August, when my first was due)

Those chances are if you BD only ONE time in the entire fertile window... and if it happens to be on each of those given days.

Why arent your chances around 90%? Well gosh if I havent typed this one out a million times lol (not angry or frustrated, just pointing out it is a VERY common question)

1. yes he has a few hundred million sperm. A lot die before they ever enter the cervix.
2. more die off before they find a fallopian tube as it is a teeny tiny little hole inside of your uterus, much like finding a needle in a haystack.
3. of the ones that find the fallopian tube, well... they have to be in the right one, chances thus far are cut in half.
4. They have to find and fertilize the egg within 12-24 hours of ovulation, the time period in which the egg dies. This is part of why O-4 and O+1 are so low but O-1 is so high...

If they are there too long, many of them die off. Yes, you still have a chance, but not as big of one.

If they get there too late, the egg is already died off, thus you have no chance so O+1 has a pretty good risk of being too late (but its still fun to add it on!)

O-1 would be the most amount of healthy swimmers that find the fallopian tube pre-O are still alive and waiting for the egg... much more likely to fertilize in this case.

Ah interesting. Everyone must wish those chances were higher...sigh

I caved.....

I caved today, and bought a box of FRERs. (Just like I did with my last pregnancy....couldn't stop myself when the evening of DPO 8 rolled around)

I have been nauseated and exhausted since yesterday afternoon. The nausea came around when I was completey distracted by my other kiddos, picking cherry tomatoes in the garden, so it's not like I was totally obssessing at the time. I've had hyperemesis gravidarum with both my previous pregnancies, so this makes me pretty nervous.

Anyway, I took an FRER about 40 minutes ago, and within the first 3 minutes, there was something there. You really have to look, with good light, but I swear something it there. My husband says that he thinks he sees something too, but can't be sure.

I really can't call it a positive, because it is just so very very very faint. I'm sure it wouldn't even show up in a photo. Maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me. I hope to have a clearer answer in the morning.

So I am very confused by what I am feeling today. . well last night and today really. I have had a lot of pinching in my uterus and this morning I had a burning/tingling feeling in my nipple (sorry! LOL I hate that word). These were totally things I got when I was pregnant with my last two BUT I haven't even ovulated yet. My temp dropped a lot this morning, so that's a good signal, but I'm confused by the pinches? Shouldn't I be feeling something in my ovaries?? My cervix is very high still.

Usually FRERs are pretty good for being stark white if they are BFN so if you see even a hint of a line I'd say that is promising (I know Mae will disagree because she had some evaps with those ones too....) Oh yeah, post a pic cuz we love to obsess!!!

Yeah, it gave me a "peak" yesterday, and this morning it gave me a peak as well and didn't want to take a new test stick... so maybe it was on to something?

BTW, It IS possible to pee on a monitor stick AND pee on a test stick all in teh same stream of fmu...

As for me.....today is DPO 9. After last night's line of some sort on the FRER (that I can still see today..it's even way more obvious today), I used an FRER this morning with FMU and it is clearly negative. So I think last night's FRER must have been an evap line even though it's got a pinkish tinge to it.

The only camera I have right now is my iphone cam, and it's not able to get a good enough picture to show what I'm seeing.

My afternoon nausea showed up again today, so I tested with a Dollar Tree test and it came back with a line at about the 4 minute mark. Very light, but pinkish....but I can't trust a positive dollar tree test over a negative FRER.

I don't think I'll try the FRER again for a couple more days and stick with the dollar tree just to have the outlet to pee on something.

todays was a negative
and todays $tree was a yes...

I would trust it.

FRERs (even two from the same box) can have different sensitivities per stick... while they are still very sensitive, $tree tests are just as sensitive.

If $tree line is indeed pink and came up in the time limit, it is a BFP. No doubt there.

I took another $tree around 4:30, with the same results seen around the 4 minute mark....I noticed that the test line became harder to see after 11 minutes had passed.

I will test again with $tree in the morning. )
