We went to a garage sale and I got a complete santa outfit for $3! It had the wig, beard, hat, coat and pants. I'm excited for my husband to be Santa this year. He is not.

yep, afternoon Since we're not at the kindy center, but in the elementary school, they do all the walkers in the afternoon session.

OK, I know that one.

I've got two Salvation Army's really close so I usually hit them and call it quits. Wednesdays are their half off all but the newest clothes day. Not a lot of boys pants, though, so I may have to go farther afield.

Where are the SAs? I can never find any good thrift stores, though do find the occasional gem at Goodwill, they are usually few and far between.

This likely isn't as thrifty as some of your finds, but I found a sturdy wooden rocking chair at a local thrift store for $7. I'm so excited because I've been wanting one for after the baby is born.

And I found the cutest pair of brand new Robeez baby shoes in size 6-12 months for 50 cents.

I feel like I never find what I really need at my thrift store, but yesterday I went specifically for down comforters and found 2 in great shape that were 50%. Two full size goose down comforters for $12!

They closed my local Salvation Army so I had to go to Goodwill, which has higher prices than some other smaller stores. Still, I got a pair of Gap corduroys and a London Fog raincoat (essential now that dd and I are taking the bus and train every day) for $6.99 each. All for me I got some great BTS deals on ebay for dd so she is set. She got 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea for $1.99 so she was happy anyway.

My most recent amazing finds:

a brand new pair of Haflinger wool shoes for $2.99 (I looked them up and this shoe retails for $110)

Calvin Kline knee lenght wool coat in olive green (my very favorite color) for 8.99 (similar stuff retailing for $200-300)

and DS1 has been asking for footed pj's like his little brother has. Except DS1 is in a size 4T. Score 1 brand new 4T fleece footed zip up pj's with sports and balls for $2.

I couldn't stop thinking about the last time I was in the Kid2Kid. They had a Plan Toys parking garage (retail $100+) for $39.99. Well, I finally got back. I used my $5 monthly coupon and took some stuff in to sell. I got $28 for my stuff.

So, for the Plan Toys Parking Garage I paid a grand total of:

$6.99

Now, I did buy a few sleepers while I was there, but seriously, my main objective was to take things in and get the garage. It's in great shape, I'm so happy. It even came with two cars & a helicopter. DS is going to flip over it!

Yowza! Great deal on that parking garage! I got it on sale at Kidsurplus and am giving it to DS for Christmas. It is so stinking cute! (and fun for mama to play with too... )

Wow! Some awesome scores! I was super happy with my bag of pants for my 4 yr old, coverse shoes for my 2 yr old, and a great winter coat for my 2 yr old for $5! Well, the lady said $2.50, but I am a terrible negotiator. LOL... it was for a good cause!

I buy all DD's clothes used, but have never found anything truly spectacular.

My in-laws however, went thrifting and picked up a silverplate tea set for when DD is older. It was brand new and sealed and they paid $20! I looked it up online and it retails for $200! She will be the fanciest kid on the block.
