The problem with baking all day...

Is the mess!!!

My kitchen is a disaster! I made peanut butter bars, peanut butter cookies, a strawberry struedel, and a strawberry and cream cheese pie. Everything tastes WONDERFUL, except I'm going to alter the recipe for the bars next time (too much sugar and not enough graham cracker I think, maybe need some cinnamon, too).

But now the dishes...ugh...my dogs have been helping me keep the floor clean from the random pieces of dough that have dropped, so that's good at least!

I don't usually bake like this, since I WOH, just getting dinner taken care of is hard enough! But since I'm home on maternity leave and have no baby in my arms, I figured I'd spend some time with Ian and get all domestic Yum!!

I have been feeling this overwhelming urge to bake too.

Yesterday I made apple crisp, and I barely have time to cook meals alone.
Hope you get a babe in your arms soon!

No urge to bake, but you guys are making me really hungry... must go eat cookies now.

Haha...yeah, that's the OTHER problem with baking all day...I ate a LOT of sweets today!!!
