I'm wondering about starting doing in home childcare. My mum has done this since I was a kid so I have an idea what I am letting myself in for. I can ask her about regulations, policies and stuff but I have some questions about how it affects people's families so
1. what effect does this have on your home? do you have a room devoted to childcare?
2. how do you feel splitting your time with your own child and the ones you are looking after (FWIW DS is nearly 3 and DD is 5 and at school)
3. how do you handle toys? do you have seperate ones for chidlcare, do your kids keep thier toys in thier rooms etc.
Is there anything else I should be thinking about?
