Has anyone ever heard about a sensitivity to silicon dioxide?
I thought it was just hidden MSG that would cause a reaction occasionally, but I had a mild reaction last night at my parents (my poor dad. Cooks for us all the time and then I b!tch and moan about what might be in it...) and we looked at everything that went into the meal and the only things that we thought may even possibly caused it were chili (which I eat all the freakin time and never have a problem with) and silicon dioxide (anti caking agent) Silicon dioxide is supposed to pass right through the system, unabsorbed, but I guess I should know by now that I could have a problem with anything.
I have Celiacs as well, but we are sure there was no gluten. Almost all of my family are GF, and have GF kitchens. It was a very MSG style reaction, shaky limbs, nausea, headache. But there was nothing that had MSG in it.
HELP? Ideas?
