Private Practice fans! Premieres tonight

I was pregnant when I watched the season finale. I wonder what will happen to Violet.

I cannot wait!!!

(spoiler) ::

The writers of PP have already said that Violet lives -- the cliff hanger is whether or not the baby will survive.

The writers for this show aren't afraid to step on toes, so I'm really nervous as to what is going to happen to the baby! Ack.

I was pregnant at the end of the season and am still pregnant.

I think my husband is even more looking forward to the premier tonight than I am...he got into it last season when I was watching and has been asking me for months if I knew when the premier was. He's anxious to find out what happens-I haven't mentioned that we know Violet lives. He can enjoy the cliff hanger for a few more hours.

I was so glad that both were ok in the end. I was also pregnant when she started going through all of that and that was the only reason I watched the show. I almost started crying when I saw the 2 reunited alive and healthy.

Am I the only one thinking they're not both OK? I got the feeling that the baby had actually died when they brought him in to see Violet. The look on Addison's face and Naomi holding her hand to tell her she "wasn't alone". Plus, I can't see how the baby who just had surgery and was recently in an incubator recovering could just be brought into her room like that. I really really hope I'm wrong because I do not deal well with dying babies :-(

First Grey's Anatomy cuts off a baby's arm in a c-section and then Private Practice has a Violet cut open. Just horrible shows to be watching if you're pregnant or had children, kwim?
That being said, I loved the ending. So glad both lived. They did a great job on Violet's makeup, she looked like death warmed over in surgery. Very realistic. Next weeks episode looks like its going to be very sad.

I thought so too, but then the tears to me were like tears of relief that both were ok and Naomi was holding her hand in support and agreement. But I guess we'll continue to find out.

I can't see the whole surgery thing either with the baby. But it is a TV show. When babies are born they look way too big and have no misshapen head etc. He was much too alert too. LOL!

Well they showed Violet holding the baby in next week's preview and telling Charlotte that she didn't feel anything for the baby. Then you see her telling Pete that he may never forgive her while she's holding the baby. So I'm thinking the baby lived. I think Addison was just overwhelmed by the enormity of her day.

I want either Grey's OR Private Practice (although it would probably work best on PP) to show JUST ONE healthy, normal, not scary, intervention free, happy pregnancy and birth. I want the woman to be able to get pregnant without IVF, have a comfortable pregnancy without emergencies or scares, be allowed to pass her due date, labor naturally, birth naturally, and nurse her baby.

I also don't want the other characters to speak disparagingly about the woman being "lucky" or rare. I want them to speak of the normalcy of birth.

Is this too much to ask, you think?

LOL, it may be, considering that they are infertility and neonatal surgery specialists.

Oh that's good! The station I was watching did not show a preview for next week. It was hard to read Addison's face. I thought it could have gone both ways. I even backed it up and watched again. Glad I was wrong.
