Since a lot of us seem to have a love/hate relationship with a lot of the shows he discusses, I thought it would be funny to share this with all of you!

As a rule, I kind of want to kill Anthony Bourdain, but this was so right on I might have to cut him a teeny weeny bit of slack.

I'm not a big fan but he was right one about this and made me chuckle.

Loved it! I pretty much agree with him on everything but his take on Lazytown is spot on!

At every appearance of the rascally fox, "Swiper", the walls shake like a high-pitched Nuremberg rally of sticky children , screaming "SWIPER NO SWIPING" in unison--as avidly as any cries of "Duce!" or worse.

I have all the same feelings for these shows! When my son was born, I knew we would never watch this stuff... Then, as the mornings got longer and the toys became boring and Mommies back hurt, the shows crept into our lives. Now he is 2 and know them all! I, at least, can still say he doesn't own all the merchandise. But, I've been really considering ditching the tv when we move (next month)...

If I can convince DH!

I'm lucky because DS is still young enough not to ask for tv. Or certain shows.

That blog could have been written by myself or my DH. Esp the lazy town part.

I enjoyed this thoroughly! I love AB even more after reading this. It's so relevant to my life whereas I watch No Reservations for the escapism factor.

Yeah, he can be quite obnoxious. I'm not a fan.

I'm always impressed when people can write the way that they actually talk and Anthony Bourdain is definitely one of those people! Nice article.

Oh, and it just makes my crush on him all the more real, haha!
