A friend (who is pro vaccination) sent me this link and wanted to know my thoughts on it as someone who doesn't vaccinate. In the future, for her job, she will have to speak to the public about vaccinations and she is looking for view points from others.
If you could read the article and just tell me some basic thoughts on it, that would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Honestly that article is just like many others discounting the connection between autism and vaccines....there are many things wrong with that article but frankly this has been debated so much already on this board and pointing out what we find wrong with this article will spark another debate. I'm sure others will be along who want to engage, but I'm over it!!

I would also suggest doing a through search of the threads as it has been hashed out here many times before.

I'm against vaxing unless there's a very good reason, but I'm also skeptical of the vax causing autism in a child. It seems more probable to me that the vaxes that the parents themselves get may somehow screw with their eggs/sperm. I can't remember off the top of my head the name of it, but there's another condition that has similar symptoms to autism, yet it's easier to plaster the label "autism spectrum" (a phrase not exactly existing 20 years ago) on a child than to find out if it's an ingredient or something else causing certain symptoms. Don't forget we live in an age where a kid being a normal, active kid is labeled ADD or ADHD very easily. It's possible that 20 years ago kids were no different than now but certain social issued were just accepted as part of life rather than called Asperger's or something. Since this info might not have been recorded 20 years ago, this just might be an impossible study.

Regardless it can't be denied that kids are definitely sicker in other ways than they've ever been, and the rate of illnesses has cimbed right along with the number of vaxes, and it's rdiculous to vax agaisnt something that doesn't exist in this country (polio) or that is mild if caught naturally (chickenpox).
