bah- thrush!

DS is 2 weeks old, and between geting up this am, and now, has suddenly developed a raging case of thrush. *sigh* I've never seen so white a tongue, in fact.

Town is about an hour away, and my natural foods store is closed until next Tuesday, so GSE isn't an option. I do have some gentian violet- think it's worth a shot?

Absolutely - especially as you don't have much else to go with - definitely use it, I presume you have the correct % etc? need to hit it on the head asap - before it gets to you!!!

My DR gave us gentian violet when DD got thrush. You might already know this but I didn't at the time. Make sure you treat your nipples too. Otherwise it never goes away.
