My German Intern has never seen green eggs before. She is very intrigued.
I will be making some yummy breakfast tomorrow! THank you! And tell your Hubby, thanks as well!
Ameraucana's lay bue and green eggs. We have three of them, and get 1 blue and 2 green each day.
In the US, they are often called Easter eggers.http://www.moonfirefarm.com/Penny-Americaunas2.JPG
They are sneaky birds, and do everything they can to hide nests.
One of ours, on the days we keep them penned up, actually climbs the 6 foot fence, so she can use "her" nest.
All the rest are Cochin's and lay all the pink and light brown eggs.
They are the most heavy feathered of all chickens, and run around in Pantaloons
Can't find the legs and feet on most of them.
I told dh, when the cochins are bent of over eating, they look like soft serve ice cream cones

If you want to show your intern some amazing eggs, google Cuckoo Maran eggs.
They lay medium to dark chocolate colored eggs!
