Anyone else? I'm starting to get a little nervous. It is VERY bright red still. Sometimes there is nothing and then I get a big gush sometimes. I also really haven't had any afterpains, even when breastfeeding, since about 5 days PP, but I'm still having all this bright red blood.

Signs to look for that might indicate a problem include a temperature, abdominal tenderness, odor with the blood/discharge, a sudden change in your milk supply, dizziness...
As long as none of that is happening, then you're probably okay. Just pay attention and report any changes right away to your dr. Did you have any birth trauma at all? Anyone pull on your cord? Did you have a long extended labor? All of those could cause larger wounds in your uterus that may take more time to heal.

bright red is pretty normal. Mine's still red at 8 days. Small gushes are also pretty normal, particularly when BFing, since that stimulates the hormones. And no cramping after day 5 is also normal. Once your milk comes in, cramping reduces drastically. I still get the occasional twinge, but nothing like those first few days.
Unless you're seeing a drastic change, have a fever, unusual cramping, a bad smell or something else of that sort, it all sounds perfectly normal.

Me too at 2.5 weeks. My OB says it's because I do too much - and I can tell that she's right. On days I'm officially lazy and not on my feet too much, it lessens and goes to a darker color, old blood looking. But then when I'm up and moving around, the next day it'll be back to bright red and much heavier.
I'm also having gravity pressure pains... like, when I'm standing for too long, I get pains in the vagina, like pressure. This too sounds normal from my OB's standpoint, but it's scared me a few times... like something's going to "fall out". That's the description I give the nurses :-) I think key is... relax and take it easy. I'm trying!
